SYARIKAT OSMANIA LOGISTICS SDN. BHD. is a wholly owned Bumiputera Company incorporated in Malaysia on the 23rd of August 1967. Having celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2017, the company is principally engaged in telecommunication works, providing full turnkey solutions for the laying, testing and commissioning of fiber optic and copper cables, installation of high speed broadband infrastructure and equipment as well as wireless networking systems. The company’s other business interests include logistics and warehousing solutions, aerospace and defense related equipment, specialized security equipment as well as health and safety equipment and devices.

SYARIKAT OSMANIA LOGISTICS SDN. BHD. being one of the pioneer JKH contractors for Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), the company also has the distinction of being chosen as one of the key contractors for the national High Speed Broadband (HSBB) Project, commonly known as Unifi. With operations spanning across Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak, the company is currently a Certified Network Contractor (CNC) and Certified Broadband Contractor (CBC) for Telekom Malaysia Berhad.

SYARIKAT OSMANIA LOGISTICS SDN. BHD. has been accredited as a High Performing Bumiputera Company (TERAS) by TERAJU under the Prime Ministers Department of Malaysia in 2014. The company is also proud to announce as of 2018 we are certified by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS / NQA) for meeting the requirements of international standards of ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management Systems.

OUR HIstory

NATURE OF BUSINESS : AVIONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

I) During the period we represented De Havilland, we managed to sell 6 units of DHC-4 Carribou military transport aircraft to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).
II) Sold a number of units of DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft to Malaysian Airline System (MAS).

* (De Havilland Aircraft of Canada was bought over by Boeing in 1986).

NATURE OF BUSINESS : AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURER

We Represented Hawker Siddeley, Covering 2 Types Of Aircrafts –
I) HS 125 Executive Jet – Sold 2 Aircrafts To The Malaysian Government.
II) HS 748 Commercial Aircraft.

NATURE OF BUSINESS : AVIONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

I) A sizeable number of military radio equipments were sold to the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) as well as to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).

NATURE OF BUSINESS : WEAPON SYSTEMS AND COMPREHENSIVE RANGE OF AMMUNITIONS

I) Sold several units of Mecar 120mm Direct Fire Cannons to the Royal Malaysian Army.

BRADBURY WILKINSON & CO., NEW MALDEN, SURREY, ENGLAND (1970 – 1990’s)

As Country Agent for Bradbury Wilkinson , we secured yearly contracts to print and supply currency notes to Bank Negara Malaysia. The currency notes comprised of RM 1, RM 2, RM 5, RM 10, RM 20, RM 50, RM 100 And RM 1,000.

NATURE OF BUSINESS :  CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING

In partnership with Jurong Engineering Singapore from 1987 – 2006, the company undertook sub-contract engineering works mainly in the construction of power plants. Notable projects include:- Paka Power Station, Terengganu, Tuanku Jaafar Power Plant Port Dickson and Aromatic KR2, Kertih Terengganu.

NATURE OF BUSINESS : INSURANCE BROKERS

The company was a joint-venture between Syarikat Osmania Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (investment holding company of Syarikat Osmania Logistics Sdn. Bhd.), other Malaysian shareholders and C.T. Bowring Of London (later bought over by Marsh & McLennan). The company was principally involved in the business of insurance, reinsurance broking and insurance risk consultancy. Notable clients include:- Malaysian Airline System (MAS) , AirAsia and MEASAT Satellite Systems.
